Attempts to lose weight are nothing new. In recent decades, the "thin is in" mentality has become prevalent in mainstream society, including and especially among young students. Today, many young people skip meals or use anti-obesity drugs in attempts to lose weight. Unfortunately, despite the popularity of these weight-reduction methods. They are fraught with adverse side effects, are destructive to students' lives, and fail to provide a long term solution to weight loss. Therefore, there is great urgency for us to come up with a good way to solve the problem. Playing in the indoor jungle gym on weekends, as far as I'm concerned, is a pretty effective way.
To begin with, one major problem that will cause by using anti-obesity medicine or skip meals is that it is easy for students to get fat and these ways do harm to students' natural growth. Many types of diet pills are known to trigger serious reactions, some of which can become life-threatening. Skipping meals, too, is not without its side effects in addition to causing dizziness, headaches and stomach tension, it can also wreck havoc on blood glucose levels, cholesterol and blood pressure. Hence, considering all the disadvantages of the two ways, going to exercise in the indoor jungle gym is not only good for children's growth, but also of great benefit to their emotion.
In addition, another thing I want to warn students who choose to lose weight by using diet pills or skipping meals is that they are likely to result in increased fatigue and lowered stamina. For students, this can be detrimental to their academicals performance. Some students may also develop an obsession with their day-to-day weight loss results, stealing their attention away from their academic work and making them increasingly apathetic toward their studies. If young students choose to lose weight in the indoor jungle gym, these bad effects will be largely prevented.
Finally, taking weight-loss drugs and skipping meals are perceived by many young people as fast and easy ways to deal with obesity. However, like most other "quick-fix" health solutions, they are limited in efficiency and potentially dangerous to children's health. It is only by adopting a long-term regimen of regular exercise in the indoor jungle gym or in other exercising places, eating healthily, getting enough sleep can obese individuals lose weight in a safe, non-disruptive and sustained way.
All in all, if you are a student who wants to lose weight, it is a wise choice to invite several of your classmates to the nearby indoor jungle gym to have fun.
