Living in a society of material fulfillment, it's an obvious trend that the issue of ethics takes on a sharper focus in the money culture of a service economy than in our earlier industrial days. Financial scandals, political corruptions are not new to us. Therefore, there is an regent need to rebuild the ethics of our society, and young generations, as far as I'm concerned, bears the most hope for our future. I believe that it is before kids turned to 10 years old that kids can be well taught and learned about ethic. Therefore, the function of those institutions that historically provide the ethical basis to the society- the family, the church and the primary school- should be enhanced. Here, I'd like to add one place more for kids- the indoor play equipment. Indoor play equipment as the garden for kids, would of course make ethics study more impressed in their mind.
On the one hand, ethic study is something so serious that most people thought they should be taught in classes or churches. However, according to my experience, I think it doesn't work so effectively because they are dead knowledge that appear no attraction to children. Kids will feel it hard to understand what ethic is without putting these knowledge into practice. However, we have to admit that there is no shortcut to have the acquire necessary ethics except for teaching, but we can change the place that kids learn to accept these knowledge. Then it will be the indoor play equipment. Children's behavior is a reflection of their inner world, you can find out where their strength as well as their default lies through observing their behaviors in the indoor play equipment.
On the other hand, it makes it easier to have kids learn ethics from each other than just by directing them what to do. As there are a lot of friends or playmates in the indoor play equipment, kids are born with the nature to imitate others, as long as parents can be there to make sure that what they are imitating is good for the development of their ethics, then this is also an efficient of learning. Just as the old saying goes in china"three walk together, there would always be one who can be my teacher" actually, learning with humility from others is also a good moral ethic.
In summary, the study of ethics should be taught in a smooth way, it would make kids feel better in indoor play equipment because the learning to them is more like a enjoyment but not a task that they have to finish.
